In the words of John Ruskin, here are 'moorland, sweet river and English forest at their best.' Set deep in the heart of the magnificent Lune Valley these properties are surrounded by rolling countryside, grass fields and mature trees.

Sleeping from 2 to 16 people, each cottage is individually furnished to the highest standard. Ranging from modern barn conversions to stately country houses, each property has its own style and charm, while all benefitting from the stunning landscapes of the Lune Valley.

THE OLD LAUNDRY (Sleeps 2) - This unusual single storey cottage makes a perfect anniversary or honeymoon retreat. There is an open plan living/dining room with gas 'wood burning' stove, and a well equipped kitchen. The 6ft half tester bed backs on to a spacious bathroom, with twin wash hand basins and a walk in shower room.

BLUEBELL COTTAGE (Sleeps 4) - Backing on to a wood that is a sheet of blue in May, this 19th Century cottage is a perfect hideaway. The sitting room is cosy with an open fire, and the kitchen/dining room is spacious with all modern appliances. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Outside there is a large enclosed garden.

THE DEER HOUSE (Sleeps 4) - This unusual Grade II listed property was originally used as a hay barn for an ornamental deer herd. The octagonal building featrues a large living area with wood burning stove. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom.

TOSCA COTTAGE (Sleeps 4) - Furnished to the highest standards, this detached cottage is surrounded by fields and woodland. The kitchen/dining room is modern and spacious. There is a utility room and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom, both of which have en-suite bathrooms.

SCAR BROW (Sleeps 8) - With stunning views across the Lune Valley towards The Yorkshire Dales, this house benefits from a large living/dining room with an open fire at one end and a wood burning stove at the other. The fitted kitchen has a duel fuel range cooker, as well as an American style fridge freezer. There are 5 bedrooms, including an en-suite twin room downstairs, and 4 bathrooms.

DEANSBIGGIN BARN (Sleeps 8) - This recent barn conversion enjoys spacious accommodation with an open plan living/dining room with gas 'wood burner'. The kitchen is well equipped with a duel fuel range cooker and American style fridge freezer. Upstairs there are 4 comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms or showers. Outside there is a raised, ballustraded decking area, and a hot tub spa.

UNDERLEY GRANGE (Sleeps 16) - This Grade II listed country house has a wonderful family feel about it. Elegantly furnished in keeping with the house, there are modern touches such as flatscreen televisions, wireless internet connection, and a hot tub in the garden.

There are 3 spacious sitting rooms, each with its own roaring open fire, and the dining room, with the antique mahogany dining table, can comfortably seat 16. The kitchen features a 4 oven Aga, as well as an electric cooker and gas hob.

There are 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, including a downstairs twin room with en-suite shower.

Outside there is a heated outdoor swimming pool (summer only) with pool house, a hot tub spa, as well as acres of enclosed gardens. The property also benefits from a games room with full sized snooker table.
