Hidden away on the beautiful remote and wild coastline of the Hartland Peninsula, North Devon, you will find a perfect retreat for 'getting away' from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Imagine waking up each morning in an area with no noise or light pollution. Designated as a ' pool of tranquillity ' and being only one of three areas in the whole of England , this would take a lot of beating.

Add to this the area's wonderful secluded beaches and pretty coves with tumbling waterfalls and you have come across a hidden gem in Devon.

The quality of the location is matched by the quality of our accommodation. We have gone to great lengths to ensure that what you find is what we would expect to find on holiday ; beautifully decorated cottages with lots of exposed beams, spotlessly clean and many extra personal touches to make your stay special. Many of our guests return on a regular basis, captivated by this very special place.

If you wish, we can take away the hastle of cooking as we offer a wonderful range of farmhouse meals and dishes, freshly cooked and brought to your cottage, all at very reasonable prices. All you need to do is reheat the very generous portions. Breakfast and picnic hampers can also be provided.

The area is a walkers' paradise, the scenery stunning; from breathtaking coastal paths snaking around the 12 miles of coastline, to inland wooded walks full of bluebells or heath lands full of rare orchids.

In addition, the Hartland Peninsula is ideally situated to visit Exmoor, Dartmoor and Lundy Island and being only 9 miles from the Cornish border, all that Cornwall also has to offer.
