Kingfisher Cottage is a luxury 3 bedroom self catering holiday cottage near Kingsbridge in south devon converted from an 18th century stone barn (sleeps 6-7 plus cot) situated in an idyllic rural setting in the South Hams and centrally located between Salcombe and Dartmouth and 10 minutes drive to the beach.
The cottage has a private terrace which overlooks the naturally spring fed duck pond and is an ideal setting for al fresco dining with a picnic table and weber barbecue.
Kingfisher cottage has its own filtered spring water supply and is surrounded by farmland and the rolling South Devon countryside, and within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Kingfisher Cottage is situated near award winning beaches including Slapton Sands / Slapton Ley Nature Reserve, Blackpool Sands, Torcross and East Portlemouth, Mill Bay.
The holiday cottage is situated within a central position in the South Hams and is an excellent base for exploring this charming area or enjoying the beaches of South Devon.
The property has been refurbished in 2007/2008 and is furnished to a high standard and offers one double bedroom with original beamed ceiling making it feel light and airy (plus additional single bed) with ensuite facilities and two twin bedded rooms which share the family bathroom.
The spacious sitting room has a log burning stove with leather sofas, 32 inch LCD freeview digital TV, HD DVD player, video recorder, hifi and WI-FI wireless broadband internet connection.
There is a generous kitchen diner has a fully fitted kitchen including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. Linen and towels are provided. The property also offers ample parking.
Kingfisher cottage offers a perfect haven for relaxation, coupled with privacy, peace and tranquillity. A real oasis of calm.
