Outside there are two patios, one at the front and the other at the rear of the property, both with furniture so you can enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. Seahouses is a fantastic coastal town offering a range of eateries and independent shops, so spend a morning browsing local produce before enjoying a meal out or walking through the picturesque harbour. Seahouses has a sandy beach ideal for family walks, watersports and picnics, and you can explore the coast and wildlife further with boat trips to Farne Island RSPB sanctuary or walks through the nearby Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve. Further from the property you will find the wonderful town of Bamburgh with its fantastic castle and sandy beach, and beyond that, Holy Island. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
