This idyllic retreat is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Brassington, which boasts a beautiful Norman church, historic streets, two quaint pubs and a children's play area. There are numerous walks from the doorstep that lead into the scenic Peak District National Park and tranquil Carsington Water, with a wide range of outdoor activities to be enjoyed both on and off the water. Try your hand at windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, or for those who like dry land, push yourself to the limits on an 8 mile mountain bike course. For a family day out, Alton Towers, Matlock Farm Park, Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton. Make your way into the snug lounge room, light the fire and nestle into one of the comfy sofas. Watch a film or favourite series on the Smart TV. Completing the ground floor is a downstairs WC. When sleep calls, get a restful night s sleep in one of the four bedrooms, a king size, a double, a single room, and another single, this room has a trundle bed with an extra pull out single mattress, perfect for children. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and WC. Begin your mornings in the garden with your morning coffee on the outdoor furniture. A small enclosed lawn area is ideal for children and your waggy tail friend.
