Guests say

Guests have found 51 Fernhill Heights to be a well-equipped, comfortable cottage with a great location for exploring Charmouth and Lyme Regis. The property's modern decor and quiet surroundings are frequently praised, and the convenience of parking is appreciated. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, though there are isolated comments about areas that could have been cleaned more thoroughly, such as under the settee.

The location is highly regarded for its proximity to local towns and beaches, offering a quiet area with easy access to attractions. However, one review mentioned it was further from Charmouth than expected, which could be a consideration for those with mobility issues.

The comfort of the beds and the overall accommodation is praised, contributing to a restful stay. However, some guests found the beds low and the blinds difficult to operate, which could affect the comfort level for less sprightly individuals.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Points were deducted for maintenance issues like a rusty kitchen drainer, a frozen-up freezer, and poor water pressure in the upstairs bathroom.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the host in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

. It was lovely and quiet, stylishly furnished and contemporary. We felt there were a few negatives. The beds, although very comfortable, are low and not ideal for those of us less sprightly. The blinds on the velux windows were very difficult to pull up or down. We found it easier to leave the blinds closed then battle to open them! The water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was very poor. The shower wasn't much more than a trickle. That said, the downstairs shower was very effective. In the back yard, the steps are very steep and no handrail, so are a bit tricky. The hotel pool, although not managed by the owner of the accommodation, is very tired and the water had lots if debris, so was a bit disappointing. Just something to be aware of as the accommodation info highlights the availability of the pool.
