While some guests encountered issues with flies and cleaning on arrival, the majority had a positive experience, enjoying the tranquility and the cottage's cosy atmosphere.

Most guests found the cottage to be cleaned to a high standard, with good quality bedlinen and towels. However, a few guests reported issues with spiders and cleanliness upon arrival, which slightly lowers the score.

The cottage is praised for its peaceful and quiet location, with no passing traffic and easy access to local attractions. The only drawback mentioned is the distance to the nearest pub, which some guests found too far for a comfortable walk.

Guests generally found the cottage to be warm, comfortable, and cosy, with an easy-to-control heating system and comfortable beds. The second bedroom was noted to be a bit tight for space, but this was expected from the property details.

Certainly no flies when we visited. (And if you visit and there are flies, then invest in some fly paper :))

It was really cosy and comfortable, and it a lovely quiet location. It was great to have the choice of two seating areas, as well as a lovely private garden. The beds were comfortable (although the second bedroom is a little tight for space - this is mentioned in the cottage details though). We would definitely stay here again. The welcome treats were a lovely touch too :)

Great location. Quiet road . Welcome pack on arrival. Could be a lovely cottage apart from the flies. There is a plus zap fly killer in the kitchen and we used fly spray and fly strips. Spoiled the break for us.
