Guests say

Allt An Dorran is a well-received cottage with stunning views and a prime location for exploring and sea swimming. Guests appreciate its spaciousness, comfort, and well-stocked amenities, though some noted areas for improvement. The property's homely feel and the natural beauty of its surroundings are frequently praised, making it a favoured choice for a relaxing break.

Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, with only a single mention of a musty smell upon arrival and some dirty mugs. The overall impression is that of a tidy and homely environment.

The location is highly praised for its fantastic views, easy access to local walks, and proximity to the sea for swimming. Despite one mention of the property being more overlooked than expected, the location is generally considered great for exploring.

Guests find the property comfortable, with special mentions of the comfy beds and the relaxing sun lounge. The homely atmosphere contributes to the overall comfort, although one review suggested the property felt a bit too personal with the owner's items present.

The property is well-equipped, with plenty of kitchenware and entertainment options. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a non-working dishwasher and a TV with sound problems, which suggest room for improvement in this area.

There is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the host, so it is not possible to assess this category accurately. Therefore, the score is set to null.

    Would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of pots pans and glassware in the kitchen. It's in a great location with lovely views. Attractive grounds with shrubs but could do with some tlc. Pity the local pub stopped serving food at 5.30 but the Loch Shiel Hotel (3 miles) was very good.

We lacked nothing during the stay. Lovely spot and views. Quite remote, would have brought more supplies if we had realised how remote it was but this was our fault. Only slight issues were: Some damp in main bedroom Garden felt a little neglected, wooden steps a bit hazardous after all the rain, river closer than we realised. However it was a great holiday (despite the weather) and great value for money. I would highly recommend to others.
