Very well equipped and comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully will return in the future.

The outside of the lodge is badly in need of painting as are the chairs. The logs that were provided were far too big and didn’t burn so we gave them away to another resident who chopped them up. We can’t really fault the cleanliness. Overall we don’t feel it was worth what we paid and we wouldn’t return.

Living area was cooler than the bedrooms, needed to use the woodburner which didn't have enough logs for been on every night, glad I took our own logs. Driveway to the log cabin was full of post holes and most had hard standing but this one was some way across the grass. As the cabin was close to the road, there was quite a bit of road noise and during summer it could be more as their is a caravan camp just up the road. Inside the pans weren't perfect, looked as if been burnt on in a previous life, Cooker and Microwave all good, Lighting was good, Bathroom had a good shower system and the beds comfortable, plenty of seating
