The open fireplace contains a wood burning stove which keeps the open-plan living space warm in the winter months, and the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding. The sitting room has triple-height ceilings making it feel incredibly spacious and a relaxing space with sofas and chairs set around the beautifully crafted fireplace, made using local slate. Pity about the weather! All the facilities we needed were there and we would have liked to make more use of the outside area but it was not to be. The children adored their little room at the top of the chapel. Thank you for the bottle of Cava - much appreciated. The house was great. If I were to criticise anything it would be the lack of an anti-slip mat in the downstairs bath, especially when being used as a shower by grandparents.
