Guests say

Bluebell Lodge is praised for its beautiful, tranquil setting and wildlife, with clean, comfortable accommodations and a welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are well-maintained, and the location is convenient for shops and the beach. Some guests mentioned minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance, but overall experiences were positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found the lodge clean and well-presented, though there were a few mentions of dust, cobwebs, and a need for a more thorough cleaning in some areas. The overall impression remains positive, with cleanliness generally meeting guests' expectations.

The location is highly appreciated for its proximity to local amenities, the seafront, and its peaceful setting within the Rushpool Hall grounds. The natural beauty and wildlife add to the charm, although some guests noted the distance from the town and lack of clear signage.

Guests enjoyed the comfortable setting, with special mentions of the new settee and chair. However, some found the beds a bit hard and the sofas not back-friendly. Overall, the lodge provided a cosy and enjoyable stay.

Facilities were generally good, with a well-equipped lodge and a welcome basket. Some guests encountered issues with TV reception, Wi-Fi, and kitchen cleanliness. Maintenance responded promptly to problems, indicating good service despite some shortcomings.

Guests frequently mentioned and appreciated the welcome hamper, wine, and dog treats, reflecting a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while often provided, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Suited our purpose exactly. We all loved our week in the lodge and its gorgeous view and surroundings. We even had mother and baby peacocks visiting most days. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was particularly pleasing. Subject to age and health issues we would love to return.

Shower is hot and powerful, beds are comfortable and again fresh and clean. Good communication, with all details regarding arrival instructions. Supermarkets and restaurant within a 5 minute drive. Good base if you want to explore the local areas.

Lovely accomodation and great surroundings. Easy access to lots of local amenities. We are going again in April 2024.
