About this property
Garden View is a comfortable, spacious ground-floor apartment, within the west wing of a beautiful Edwardian hunting lodge. There is an enclosed and private garden directly outside the property with stunning views across the fields to the sea.
Accommodation
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and slimline dishwasher and a washing machine. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
A television (with Freeview) with DVD is in the sitting room,. Wireless broadband is available at no extra cost and a hairdryer is also provided for your convenience.
A cot and/or high chair can be provided on request.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Garden View Apartment has central heating throughout which is controlled by a thermostat and can be adjusted to suit your preferences.
Please note, the apartment does have wifi but being in such a rural area the wifi can be temperamental on occasion. Please therefore make alternate arrangements if you need to rely on using the wifi during your stay.
Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you to the beach or on day trips.
A tea tray is provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive.
Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, and surface cleaner will be present in the property. One or two toilet rolls will be provided.

We have been coming to Garden View for the past 5 years, such a beautiful location, easy parking,and the staff are super friendly and helpful. It is only a short walk to Porlock Weir where there are cafes, a hotel serving lovely pizzas or you can just sit and watch the world go by. Although the apa.... Although the apartment is always clean and warm we feel that it is now in need of refurbishment .

A lovely place to stay if you like walks in beautiful countryside. The beach is pretty but not suitable for swimming and you wouldn't want to sit on it for very long as the pebbles are very large. The walk to Culbone church is well worth the effort. The walk up from Selworthy to Selworthy beacon is .... A lovely place to stay if you like walks in beautiful countryside. The walk up from Selworthy to Selworthy beacon is also lovely and there is a very picturesque tea room in Selworthy serving excellent cakes. The food at Porlock Weir hotel is expensive but delicious and it's easy walking distance. There is also a pub in Porlock Weir which serves food at a decent price.
