Guests say

Guests have enjoyed their stays at 12 Brynffynnon, praising its convenient location for exploring North Wales & Snowdonia, the stunning views, and the cosy, well-equipped interior. While some minor maintenance issues and noise concerns were mentioned, these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.

The property was described as clean and tidy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciated.

The location is highly praised for its easy access to local attractions and beautiful views, though one mention of a dangerous road and lack of pavement slightly affects the score.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with great views from the windows. However, noise from neighbours and issues with a shower head slightly impacted the comfort level for some guests.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, being tidy and well-equipped. However, some snagging issues, including a freezer compartment problem and a loose piece of wood, suggest room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner, so this score cannot be assessed.

Ro’n i’n poenu tipyn am barcio- ond llwyddais i gael lle ar yr heol wrth y ty bob tro. A doedd y grisiau lawr i’r drws, na’r grisiau yn y ty ddim yn broblem chwaith. Gweithio yma yn y theatr ym Mangor am y mis ro’n i ac fe roedd yn gartref clyd dros y cyfnod. Beautifully decorated, brilliant central heating, plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed with an amazing view of the Menai Straits greeting me every morning. I was a bit worried about parking but I managed to find a space on the road near the house every time. And the steps down to the house, or the stairs in the house were’nt a problem either. I was working at the theatre in Bangor for the month and it was a cosy home for the period.

There were a few things wrong with the property, but in context of the lovely setting and the list of nice activities planned those things just seemed irrelevant. We wasnt there to create snag lists or complain and we are open minded to believe no where is perfect. THESE WHERE... SHOWER HEAD, struggled to move up and down had to squat to shower first night. NOISE- you can hear the neighbojrs doing evertyhing. Due to there being lots of wood flooring you worry they will hear you so we spent all the wvenings tip-toeing about. DANGEROUS ROAD- not the owners fault but not clear on listing. You leave the property and walk down a ginel of uneven steep steps then straight onto a fast road with no pavement. THE FREEZER COMPARTMENT WOULDNT OPEN. NO HANDLE ON IT, BUT WE COULD GET IT BY USING OUR FINGERS IN THE SAME WAY THE HANDLE WOULD WORK. SECOUNDLY A PIECE OF WOULD TRIM WAS OFD AND THIS WENT THRLUGH MY SANDAL AND INTO MY FOOT. We went for my daughter 2nd birthday and was married close by so the area feels special to us, so it was good. The views were lovely so we just got on with having a good time. THEN.... Im checking my emails to forward my friend the listing. And i see emails from sykes saying they are charging me for the freezer door clip!!
