The location is highly appreciated for its peaceful countryside setting, proximity to Lincoln, and accessibility to local attractions and countryside walks. The occasional mention of the Red Arrows flypast adds a unique touch to the location's appeal.
Comfort is a recurring theme in the reviews, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the wood burner lit upon arrival. The provision of two bathrooms and the overall cosy feel of the cottage contribute to the high comfort level experienced by guests.
The cottage is consistently praised for its well-equipped kitchen, entertainment options, and the availability of logs for the burner. A lovely property and would have no problem in recommending it to a family of four. Our hosts were helpful on arrival and during our time there.

Such a beautiful cottage in a lovely location. We travelled from the USA and Barn End provided the rural peace and quiet we needed after a whistle-stop tour of the UK. There are 2 gorgeous bathrooms with luxury bath products provided. The kitchen has everything you need and is so well designed. The beds and sitting room are so comfortable. Top notch cottage
