What our customers say about their holidays

Beautiful location, well equipped apartment with stunning views across St Ives.
Felt the walk down to the beaches were easy reachable and myself doing early walks around really help me get my bearings. St Ives is hilly with lots of steps but worth the visit just take your time. So many shops (my wife and twin boys have cealiac gluten allergies) which caters so well for everyone. Best fish and chips, gluten and normal is Becks in Carbis bay, worth the 5 minute drive and 20 minute wait in queâ¦trust me. The apartment has fantastic view across St Ives and as mentioned is well equipped with fluffy towels and a set of beach towels. Kitchen is also well equipped however we took our coffee maker and this would be a nice touch to add to the facilities. Apartment is well maintained and very clean and classy. Downside. I had 2 13 yrs boys, WiFi was very ropey when we were all on, again worth owners upgrading for a small cost. As a glass frontage can get very hot and balmy at night, take fans, was a challenge sleeping even with fans provided. Likely an isolated incident but the en-suite was stinking, we hardly used it, reported it so hopefully it will get fixed. Also there is a machine that recognises condensation in both bathrooms. One was broke ruined our night (all night) with irruption of clicking for about 30 seconds at a time at Radom times, kept us awake all night one night which was too much. Again killed about a day and a half but once reported staff were superb. So any issues please report. Found it easy to find, and parking was okay. Tesco is Caribs bay about 1mile away 5 minutes in car or larger Asda in Hayle 10 minutes. Loved the stay. Shame about some issues but wouldnât put us of coming back to St Ives and this penthouse.

This property is probably one of my favourite places we've stayed.
It looks as though it has been recently renovated and it is incredibly well thought out for guests. It has, in my opinion, all the facilities you need for a comfortable and easy stay. With an easy walk to town (easy as in close, it is very hilly but we had no issues with the pram if you're happy to pick it up for stairs etc). We also had our two year old with us and it felt safe, and worked very well with the bunk bed room. The balcony and view is just phenomenal, it is obviously the highlight. It really is on the beach, and the sound of waves through the apartment will send you into a lovely lull of a sleep and it is very relaxing watching the waves, which when the tide is in, feels as though it engulfs the apartment. It's very special. We went in May, when we had a very small pocket of good weather (ie. no rain!) and it was still very pleasant. My son enjoyed the beach and the gate is directly under the property, with a little well to wash off the sand on your feet by the stairs, so was easy to go back and forth. I would think if we went in the height of summer, it would be even more unbelievable. If it wasn't such a drive away, I think I would have booked for next month already! There were two negatives which would be no parking but even then, there is room to unload and the car park is not far of a walk. It cost us £27 for 7 days at the long stay car park. I saw another review mention a broom for sand, there was a little hoover but yes, a broom with a dustpan would be incredibly helpful and is definitely needed. But these negatives, in my opinion, will not deter another visit and are incredibly minor.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Sea Glass in Carbis Bay.
... what a gorgeous apartment....and the balcony is fantastic, just a shame we didn't have the weather to use it to its best advantage....apartment is in a fantastic location for exploring the delights of Cornwall.... Gannet Inn and La Casita served gorgeous food.... Just a couple of things that we feel would make the apartment 100% perfect: * a wardrobe in bedroom 2.... we were 4 adults and had to share 1 wardrobe * small selection of condiments, salt, pepper, oil, ketchup/brown sauce etc (even if these are 'sachets') * a lamp in the window near the corner sofa to create 'ambiance' (the reading lamp is stunning, I've even bought the same shade) * the hoover looked as thought it had not been emptied since it was bought, was VERY compacted and took 2 of us 30 mins to scrape out!! It's evident that the cleaners don't check this either! * Pegs. I understand why there is only a maiden, but pegs are needed to keep clothes on the maiden when placed on the balcony These are not items that would stop us from staying again, but are 'inexpensive' fixes for the owner to create the perfect place.

We had a brilliant weeks stay at belyars penthouse.
The views across the sea are amazing in a morning where you can enjoy a coffee on the balcony. The apartment is clean and spacious, however it can be quiet warm during the day so the fans supplied in the apartment are needed. It comes equipped with all the facilities needed and appliances are easy to use should you want to cook whilst on holiday. The location is good, about a 10 minute walk to the town centre, however the hill the apartment is situated on is quite steep so may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, but buses run regularly and stop outside the building. Overall we have had a brilliant holiday and would definitely book this penthouse again. We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in St.Ives.

We thought the apartment was very nice, tastefully and comfortably furnished, the kitchen was very well equipped and the view was fantastic.
Just a few minor things we would like to point out. In the main bedroom, one of the bedside lamps did not work. In the second bedroom, one of the drawers was not clean and the toilet in the main bathroom was dusty. Also, in the second bedroom, there is a lack of shelf storage, as one of the cupboards is locked. The majority of the cars that were parked at the apartment were relatively large and we thought that most of the parking spots were really tight. Whilst we generally strip the beds when we leave a holiday apartment, we did not like the fact that we were required to do it. We also did not like the very late check-in time and the very early check-out time. Still, we had a great time and would definitely recommend the apartment.
