We were absolutely delighted with this property for our weekâs stay.
The location is excellent with Porth Beach and some bars/eateries being a very short walk away and everything else a short drive. The property was spotlessly clean and modern with everything you could possibly need at your disposal. Even down to having fans in the bedrooms which was handy for me as I need to sleep with a fan on. The kitchen was superbly equipped and all the small touches like teabags and milk on arrival were much appreciated. The property felt spacious inside for 2 adults and 2 children, and it benefits from beautiful styling and interior décor which we loved. The property overlooks the rear carpark which was beautifully lit with ambient lighting at night and benefitted from some partial countryside views which I enjoyed. Being on the second floor we were able to get a nice breeze and really appreciated the lift when bringing things in/out, and most importantly, no noise from neighbouring flats. Finally, the host was very communicative and pleasant and resolved a very small issue we had with the vacuum immediately. No negatives whatsoever. Canât recommend this place highly enough! Thanks for a brilliant stay!

Brilliant holiday home!
We could not have asked for somewhere better!!!! We absolutely loved the location⦠2 min drive to watergate bay beach, recommend Wax for an easy family meal. Emily Scott food was lovely and view fantastic (but service less than ideal for the standard of restaurant), we didnât try the Beach Hut as it was fully booked but I take that as a good sign as was Catch Seafood in the village of Mawgan Porth. The holiday home had sea views and we watched the sun gone down most evenings. Everything had been thought of in this house, super dog friendly with extra blankets to protect the comfy sofas from the dogs, a stair gate to keep dogs downstairs etc. Sofas and Beds super comfy, kitchen and bathrooms very modern and clean. Garden was small but perfect for our needs. Wi-Fi, tv and living space perfect for a family of 4! Some reviews talk about the parking⦠yes itâs a little tight but we managed to park an XC90 everyday with no issue! There is plenty of swing space and as the parking area is off the main road you can easily take your time if you are worried! Thanks so much Heather for a great week!

We had a lovely stay at Honeycrock.
Owners were welcoming, information provided about the local area, and we enjoyed lovely walks from the cottage door to the beach to have a fire in the evening. We stayed in August, and havenât been away in the summer before. Soon realised if you want to go to the beach you need to be prepared to get up early to drive down to get a parking space. The cottage was within walking distance (adult legs not child!) of Polly Joke and a little further, Crantock, and Bowgie Inn which is lovely for a pint overlooking the sea. As described in the listing, there is NO WI-FI which was absolutely perfect for us for a complete switch off this week. There are board games and books at the cottage. As described in the listing, the lane to get to the cottage is very rough and you need to be prepared for going at 5 mph down a bumpy lane. This did not bother us at all, but if you have a Lamborghini you might want to bear this in mind! All in all what a lovely place to stay and we would be back in a heartbeat! Have already recommended it to friends

A beautiful apartment!
I knew it was on the ground floor but wasnât aware that the balcony overlooked a car park where builders vans were parked and buildersâ rubble piled at the side. Therefore we didnât make use of it. Everything else, however was spot on! Lovely spacious rooms, showers with pressure to die for and a huge TV. The kitchen was very well equipped (although we had to use the fridge egg holders for eggcups) and beach paraphernalia supplied was a nice touch. The view at the front was great at sunset and easy parking was very welcome. We tried all the restaurants recommend in the visitors guide and felt that The Colonial on the beach was the best by far, for food and comfort, much better than The Fish House which was quite a walk away, crowded and chilly as they left the doors open. The food wasnât a patch on that of The Colonial.

This is the apartment to benchmark against, hands down best one so far, super modern, very spacious, great location within spitting distance of the beach (over the road, down some steps, less than 3 mins).
Water mains power that actually allows both showers to run simulataneously without compromising on flow to either, literally unheard of. Stella coffee machine (with pods INCLUDED) - thats a first and a tub of jelly beans (Kids minds were blown), 3 a day though so don't take the mick ;) Loads of clothing storaged space AND...plenty of hangers, another first. Utility room with plenty of beach gear, body boards, chairs, wind breakers, umbrellas, buckets and spades to name but a few of the items already there for us to use (just as well as we forgot all ours). Tesco's 2 mins walk away, super helpful. 75" TV in the lounge with blueray player and over 100+ movies to watch!!!!!! Lovely friendly owners to boot, this place is a perfect gem.
