  We had an enjoyable stay in this nice cottage.

  The positives certainly out-weighed the negatives. It would have been nice to have Wi_Fi & a Mobile phone signal, but a week without internet was not the end of the world. The bigger downside was that the guests in the twin bedroom, slept poorly, due to the constant noise created by the Boiler/Radiator. This was something previous guests had commented on in the Visitors Book. The directions to the property need updating, as the Highwayman Pub has long gone,being replaced by newish housing.   We very much liked the cottage and the surroundings.

  Clean, quiet and all necessities were present. Unfortunately the was no phone signal in the area and no mobile internet nor was the wifi in the cottage working but of 2 nights. As much as we like it quiet we would have needed to be contactable as we had animal sitters on our place at home. And we were unable to plan next days walks. Also any instructions for the appliances and for the leaving day were not present in the cottage. Luckily we could sort the heating system so it wasn't making the loud noises at unexpected times.

  My dog and I had a wonderful time.

  Cottage was warm and inviting, with lovely character features, exposed beams and wood flooring. Phil and his beautiful well behaved dog were there to greet us and tell me how to use hot water etc. Photographs don’t show the real thing, there has been a new kitchen and decor. Huge selection of DVDs and games to choose from. WiFi worked well. Fully enclosed garden was a real bonus. I came here for peace, quiet and beautiful views and I got the best sleep! Will book again.   A Bostinly quiet and peaceful area on a working farm.

  Just the sounds of some cows going to be milked, birds singing and Bostin views .. what more could we ask for? Horse Shoe Cottage was really spacious and comfortable with a spacious kitchen, big enough for 3 people to cook at once! The bedrooms were again spacious and comfortable, the only little problem was our daughter suffers from ME and it tired her out going to the bathroom and bedroom up and down the stairs, but we had a Bostinly wonderful time. We will recommend it to all we speak to!

  My family and I had a wonderful stay at Horseshoe Cottage, which we found to be a lovely, clean, tidy, and cosy base for us to explore the surrounding area.

  Everything we could possibly need had been provided, even down to instruction manuals for the kitchen appliances being left easily accessible should we have run into any problems.There were shops and pubs/restaurants within a ten minute drive of the cottage, and plenty to do to entertain our two young children within an hour's drive, including Alton Towers, Poole's Caverns, and Waterworld Stoke. I would highly recommend Horseshoe Cottage, it was the perfect countryside retreat!
