What our customers say about their holidays

I booked Palau Farm for a surprise family get together for my wifeâs 60th birthday and all I can say is âwowâ.
The location is amazing and the views stunning. The property itself was perfect for us with the large open plan kitchen and seating area at one end with doors opening up to that view providing a great place to sit and chat/play board games and eat. The kitchen and utility room were extremely well equipped although a vacuum cleaner and broom would have been useful to be able to tidy up before leaving. Had it been cold enough to use, the wood burner and supply of wood in the lounge the other end of the property would have been another great facility. We couldnât get the Sky boxes to work but the internet was reliable and fast enough for the ample supply of apps pre loaded on the TVâs to provide something to watch in the evenings. During the day, who needs tv with a view like that! Many hours spent watching the sheep and goats roaming in the farms ground. The icing on the cake for us was standing outside and seeing the Northern Lights. Not supplied by the property :) but a fantastic part of our time there. We have only been back a day and are already missing the views. A big thank you to the owner for the effort put into making Pyllau Farm a fantastic holiday home, we will definitely be returning.

Myself and my partner recently stayed at The Wren for 5 days, 5 days just wasn't enough!
It's a home from home, although we preferred it at The Wren and did not want to leave. the property itself is outstanding, beautifully presented, clean, cosy and very well equipped, a lot bigger then the photos show, it really does contain EVERYTHING you could ever need, the owners have put a lot of love and thought into this property and it really does show. The surrounding area the property is situated on is beautiful, a lot wildlife, grassy meadow area's, short/long walks, amazing scenery and not another person/car in site, but a 10 minute drive down the hill behind the property you arrive at the beach! The owners are lovely, they recommend afew things for us to see and do, it was like they knew us with how perfect every recommendation turned out to be! They are so welcoming, friendly, chatty and their hosting is exceptional, you won't see them all to often as they are busy working around the farm but they are always just a phone call away if you should need them. All in all it's defiantly a place I would recommend, we can't wait to return to The Wren.

Absolutely lovely property with stunning views all around.
If youâre looking to get away from it all, then I would highly recommend staying here. The owner, Dilwyn, was a great host. Met us in the village to drive us to the property, as driving directly to it using a sat nav would take us down a difficult road. House was lovely and cosy, had everything we needed for our two day break. The owners left us some cakes and milk in the fridge, as well as other essentials such as tea bags and sugar. The wifi was very good, considering we were in such a rural location. Handy to have sky sports and netflix etc. Hot tub was great, lovely to relax in after a busy day exploring. The location is very rural, but supermarkets and restaurants available within a ten min drive. As Dilwyn the host suggested, always use the sat nav to get to Henllan village first, and then to the cottage so as to avoid the very narrow road. House was spotless, and would definitely return next time we have a few days off. Canât recommend highly enough. Thank you Dilwyn for everything, much appreciated. Andreas, Michelle and kids

Most perfect 4 night get away, so cosey in the cold winter, hosts were lovely and made us feel very safe and welcomed.
The host are nearby if you need anything but still is a very secluded private area just for yourself. Perfect if u want to shut off into ur own bubble. Will definitely be back in the summer and climb some of the local mountains, beautiful cottage beautiful location. The hot tub was amazing even in the cold, panoramic open views across the valley. The bath was amazing, big enough for 2 people. Dressing gowns were a nice touch. The home made short bread was the best Iâve ever tasted, such a nice unexpected treat! Left feeling so relaxed !!! Cottage was so clean upon arrival, for someone who inspects every detail this is a 5* from me Ps - please get a new guest book, we wanted to leave a lovely note but we couldnât because it was so full! Such a nice personal touch. Thank you so much. Couldnât fault it at all! We had an amazing time. Was very sad to leave Hollie x

I had an amazing stay at The Wren.
The property was great and the location so peaceful. A perfect place for exploring North Wales. The shortbread on arrival was very tasty! To wake up each day surrounded by nature, overlooking the fields with horses and chickens was very relaxing. The hot tub was huge! That and the free standing bath were the perfect way to end the day . I visited lots of beautiful places. Highlights were Ynys Llanddwyn, Aber Falls, Puffin Island (via a boat trip) the steam train from Blaneau Ffestiniog to Porthmado, Betws-y-Coed and Conwy. Ynys Llandwyn was incredible and is a must see! I can highly recommend Dionyssos Greek restaurant in Rhos on Sea and Bryn Williams Porth Eirias for food. Both are around 10-15 mins away by car. Further afield I ate at Sage Kitchen in Menai Bridge which was amazing too. Loved every moment from start to finish. Wish I couldâve stayed longer.
