What our customers say about their holidays

We really enjoyed our holiday to Northern Ireland.
The cottage was the bees knees! It provided us with a home from home during our week exploring and is situated centrally for the North Antrim coast. The whole week went swimmingly, we ate in Bushmills one evening at the Distillers Arms. The meal was excellent, as was the welcome and service we received. We also had one night fish and chips from the Hip Chip. Top notch fish and chips. Every other evening we catered for ourselves in the well equipped, large kitchen at Rosie's Cottage, then sat in front of a roaring fire for a couple of hours chat before retiring to the really comfortable beds for the night. A basket of logs was provided for our first couple of evenings but after that we called in at the Maxol Service Station on our way from the village for logs and peat. We did our main shopping at Asda in Coleraine and got bits and bobs from the Spar on Main Street, just opposite the Old Bushmills Distillery. We enjoyed visits and walks to the Giant's Causeway, Portrush, Coleraine, Portstewart, Castlerock, Ballintoy, Ballycastle and a day at Belfast Zoo. We had tea and scones at The Wee Cottage at Dunluce castle at least three times during the week, sitting in front of the open fire. All in all, we could not have asked for a better week's holiday. The best part of each day was settling in at Rosie's Cottage in the evening, planning our next day's adventure. We would highly recommend the cottage and look forward to a return visit in the near future.

From the moment Eileen met us at the door with the keys we felt right at home here.
Lovely house, cozily furnished and so comfortable, with fantastic views of the beach from the picture window in the living room. Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne is practically across the street, and we loved having such easy access to its beautiful grounds and well maintained walking paths. The house is just a few miles from some of the most spectacular stops on the Causeway Coastal Route (Dunluce Castle, Giantâs Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge), and we had a great time exploring the area and its many wonders. There are a couple of good dining options in Castlerock (the Meatbox makes amazing burgers), and plenty of options nearby for grocery shopping if you prefer to prepare your own meals. A wonderful experience overall, would be happy to stop here again. Highly recommended.

A lovely home from home with everything you could possibly need.
Beautifully furnished and comfortable. And pet friendly too. Warm and cosy with super views. The log burner was great, although the house heats up really quickly and easily anyway. Excellent location near the beach, village, train station and lovely walk to Mussenden Temple. Suitable for a couple or small family. (The back door entrance is directly in to the single bedroom so couldnât really be used if that bedroom is occupied.) Not a big problem. It was perfect for us as a couple with dog. Eileen, the housekeeper, was great. Very welcoming and couldnât have been more helpful and accommodating. Also a wealth of local knowledge. We would definitely recommend this property and wouldnât hesitate to return for another stay.

We had a wonderful 4 days in the Seaview Apartment.
(24th to 27th April 2023) Eileen, our host, was extremely helpful and accommodating to any request we had. The house was spotless and had a terrific view and was bright and airy. The heating system was easy to work and the kitchen had modern equipment and everything you needed. Eileen provided a welcome pack which was a lovely touch. The furniture and decor were of high quality and very appropriate to the location. Our dog, Shadow, settled in well and it was great to have the enclosed garden at the back. All in all, a lovely holiday house/apartment in a great location overlooking Castlerock beach. We would have no problem in recommending Seaview to anyone. Arlene Haslett

A beautiful holiday cottage.
Four of us stayed for 2 weeks and couldnât have been more comfortable. The cottage was well equipped and we loved the extra accommodation of the summerhouse and bbq area. Beautiful garden space too! Well done Bill and Anne, give yourselves a well earned pat on the back! The cottage is so conveniently positioned for the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland. The causeway coast is breathtaking. Titanic Experience in Belfast was amazing as was the hop on hop off open bus top tour of Belfast which was very informative and poignant. Irish bars were very atmospheric and the Irish are such friendly people. Many thanks for a wonderful stay and welcome!
