About this property
This luxurious villa is located on a hilltop overlooking the Adriatic sea, just a few kilometers away from Istria. With breathtaking views over the bay, Villa Darya is located in an exclusive position.
Villa Darya was completely refurbished in 2012 and fully equipped with state of the art technology. It boasts a tennis court where you can request private lessons with a trainer, there is also a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, outdoor shower, outside speakers and a peaceful seating area for that well deserved break.
The house also has the most beautiful Mediterranean garden filled with lavender, rosemary and mint (perfect for those mojitos!)
The interior of the villa is as wonderful as the exterior, with high class furnishings and decor throughout. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are of an open plan design, allowing you to keep an eye on the children if you are cooking. The modern lounge is incredibly comfortable but also in keeping with Croatian style too. The doors from the lounge open out onto the terrace, where you can dine alfresco or simply relax with a drink and admire the wonderful views.
Should you wish to explore, the wonderful coastal town of Opatija is a short drive away and here you will be able to find restaurants, cafes and plenty of activities to keep you entertained.

Super comfortable relaxing villa. Pool was clean and inviting, the kitchen well equipped, bathrooms clean, and beds comfortable. The AC worked great! We were glad to have it too because we stayed during a heat wave in August. That curtailed the amount of tennis we ended up playing but we thoroughly enjoyed having access to the nice clay courts. There is a friendly and very sweet cat who belongs around the villa and mostly relaxes down at the courts and comes by every now and then to say hi. Fico was a nice surprise as our stay was on the longer side and we started to miss our pet from home. The welcome amenities (fresh fruit and bubbly) were great as were the bath products stocked for the showers. Many spices and conveniences to use in the kitchen. Helpful host too!

This was my first time in the property and I loved it. The views from the mountains overlooking Opatija and its surroundings are surreal and amazing. Even though the house is part of the Resort it has full privacy. The house, bathrooms, pool/jacuzzi area was super clean and smelled of lavender and rosemary (there are many lavender and rosemary plants in the property which makes it even better and natural). I’m quite impressed with the attention to detail this property exhibits such as the natural rocks in the bathroom and other designs throughout the house. Again, great view, heated pool and hot tub/Jacuzzi with the best massage. I’ll definitely be staying here again.
