About this property

The peace of the open countryside is alive at this 98-acre estate in Aquitaine. Anglers will be in heaven at any of the three private fishing lakes. Whether you choose to wander the grounds or relax in the hammock by the private pool, you’ll experience something priceless: uninterrupted quality time with your loved ones.

Inside, the Manoir is traditional in style yet there’s plenty of room for a group of 10 (plus any small kids that are in tow!) in the 250 square metre space. Each of the five bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, no sharing necessary. A lovely welcome present will be waiting for you in the country style kitchen - including 3 bottles of wine from the nearby Château de Gurson (which, coincidentally, is worth a visit!).

A Welcome Barbecue is offered for 2 or more week reservations, so you can start your holiday without having to prepare a meal.

St Emilion, famous for the largest monolithic church in Europe (World UNESCO Heritage site), and the view from the top of the tower is well worth climbing the 196 steps,is under thirty minutes away.

This family villa is convenient to all manner of outdoor activities; 2 km down the road is Lac de Gurson, where kids can play in the adventure playground, swim in the supervised swimming lake, and the whole family can find a bite to eat in the cafés which are right by the water's edge.. If you’re an oenophile, head south to the River Dordogne and follow it to Bordeaux (70 km) or to Bergerac (30 km), tasting at the vineyards along the way.

Manoir Beaulieu is ideally placed for visiting the many attractions in the area.

The nearest beach is at Lac de Gurson (2km) with a lake for swimming, adventure playground, canoes, picnic areas, and two water-side cafés.  Montpon-Ménestérol is 15 minutes away for fuel, shops, banks, and a canoe/kayak centre for a leisurely time on the river.

Visit Castillon la Bataille (where the re-enactment of the 100 Years' War takes place in July and August) or St. Foy (both 20 minutes) for fuel, shops, markets and a stroll by the Dordogne river.

St Emilion (30 minutes), is famous for the largest monolithic church in Europe (World unesco Heritage site), and the view from the top of the tower is well worth climbing the 196 steps!

Other famous wine areas: Bergerac, Monbazillac, Pomerol, Sauternes and Bordeaux. Prehistoric caves, châteaux, gardens and grottoes are all within driving distance. During the summer, there are night markets, jazz concerts, and a variety of events to choose from.
Suggested activities: swimming, cycling, walking, bird-watching, star-gazing and golf (with the free Dordogne Golf Pass available).

Manoir Beaulieu, nestling in 98 acres of beautiful scenery, is a wonderful place in which to enjoy quality time with your family and friends. Five large bedrooms offer accommodation for 5 to 10 people (plus baby and toddler in parents’ rooms). Each of the rooms is en-suite, with the 5th having a separate luxury bathroom. On the first floor, three of the rooms have a king-sized bed, the other has two single beds. The ground floor bedroom has a king-size bed and overlooks the garden.

The fully equipped kitchen, with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, ice maker, utensils and crockery, with a table and chairs for breakfast and snacks.

The lounge has reclining sofas, Satellite TV, Netflix, DVD player, with large selection of films, and the dining room has plenty of board games to amuse all ages.

The interior style of the manoir is traditional with beautiful grounds and views.
