Burrowed into the edge of The Ostria Cliffs, Villa Paxos offers a breath of fresh air, where from the moment you arrive there is a sense of complete tranquility and calm. Villa Paxos boasts a panorama of captivating views across the pine and olive treetops, to the Aylaki Creek below and the deep blue Ionion sea on the horizon. From sunrise to sunset the vistas are breath-taking, with some of the most dramatic sunsets lighting up the night sky, followed by a canopy of stars that arch around this delightful villa. Tucked away in its own private grounds of one and a half acres, the villa is only a 10-to-15-minute walk to the Island’s Capital, the bustling city of Gaios. 

Outside, the villa offers a tranquil sequence of spaces with the views taking command. You will find intimate terraces, hidden corners for reading and the fantastic pool terrace bordered by sun loungers and a huge dining table for outdoor gatherings. 

Inside, the spacious interior offers charm and elegance in abundance. Exposed stone combines with whitewashed walls, and muted colours to create serenity in every room, allowing the small details and intricate design to really sing. The villa sleeps fourteen guests in five comfortable bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Each offers its own character, so the first decision is who gets which beautiful bedroom, from double rooms with balconies, and even a fun bunk room ideal for four children to share. 

The ground floor offers up the villa’s main entertaining space, where a sleek, modern kitchen is nestled into the stonework, offering a bright, spacious base, well equipped for budding chefs. There are both indoor and outdoor dining areas where you can savour every meal, as well as a beautiful lounge, with doors that fold away to the terrace. In addition, there is fabulous games room with gym equipment, an American pool table and a comfortable cinema area, popular with all our guests. 

The villa’s impeccable design was curated by award winning designer Lian Vermeer. The exquisite interiors feature hand crafted beds and wardrobes and beautiful pieces of furniture throughout, with the walls adorned by original photographs from acclaimed artist Kevin Price. The attention to detail both inside and out of this remarkable property ensures the most wonderful and memorable of holidays. 

Villa Paxos is an enchanting property nestled into the edge of The Ostria Cliffs on the island of its namesake; Paxos. This magical island lies an hour's hydrofoil ride from Corfu and is just seven miles long and three miles across at its widest point, in fact you can cover the whole island in just 15 minutes or so, including around 30 beaches! 

Due to its size, Paxos has remained largely untouched by mass tourism, attracting families and couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle, immersing themselves in a traditional and welcoming Greek way of life. It is quaint and quirky, with postcard pretty views at every turn of untouched inland hamlets, ancient Venetian architecture, olive groves and an abundance of beautiful beaches and secluded coves. A quiet way of life, there are no traffic lights or roundabouts, only five taxis! 

Paxos has three main villages, all of which are worth exploring; Gaios the bustling capital is just a 5–10-minute walk from the villa, and you will also find Logos and Lakka a 10-minute drive away. All the villages are harbours, located against the dramatic backdrop of the sea. Boutique shops and art galleries fill the streets, perfect for ambling around in an afternoon. 

The island is best explored by boat, which you can hire from Gaois for the day, heading out to find hidden coves and sparkling white-sand beaches, with huge stretches of brilliant blue sea guiding you! For a little adrenaline you can try your hand at kitesurfing, wreck diving, and rock-climbing, or simply set up on a beautiful beach and soak up the long days of sunshine, feeling any worries melting away.

The food in Greece is renowned for its rich flavours and Mediterranean delights. Feta and Olive oil feature in almost every dish, with all kinds of fresh fish, fragrant herbs, and crunchy greens, all found on the island itself. Paxos has amazing shore side tavernas, hip intimate bars and joyous Kafenions where locals are likely to burst into song accompanied by bouzoukis – a real experience!
