The fabulous Villa Pampas is one of three new villas that sit overlooking the Gulf of Tsilivi in a small exclusive estate amongst four acres of ornamental trees, medicinal and aromatic plants, ornamental grasses, colourful flowers, intimate courtyards and beautiful winding paths that lead you to the balmy shore and azure blue Ionian Sea. Villa Pampas offers three dreamy bedrooms, gorgeous open-plan living space and sensational outdoor space. If your friends want to book a holiday and join you, they could look at our Villa Blue Grass and Villa Ryegrass on the same estate. Hidden within the estate gardens, the serene Eleftheria Spa allows you to reconnect your mind, body and soul offering indulgent massages and treatments including hydrotherapy and aerotherapy in its Unbescheiden tub. You can choose to have spa treatments in your villa on request.
Tsilivi sits on the northeast coast of Zakynthos or Zante as it is widely known. Just 9km from the airport, you will be relaxing in no time. Tsilivi is a bustling tourist resort with plenty of traditional family-run tavernas, restaurants, bars and nightclubs making it one of the island’s most popular hotspots. Its huge sandy beach offers a long list of watersports including paragliding, jet skis and much more plus there are boat tours to the Blue Caves and Smugglers Cove.
Villa Pampas is a contemporary capsule of cool with fabulous straight-lined architecture, sumptuous furnishings, splashes of vibrant modern art and cool marble floors. Its private outdoor space enjoys a superb infinity swimming pool, a firepit and magical alfresco dining and lounge spaces. You will leave Villa Pampas with wonderful holiday memories. The villa’s open-plan living space is chic, effortlessly stylish and oozes luxury. Its sleek, brilliant white kitchen will please the chef in your group with its excellent appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine and sociable workspace. Fellow guests can perch on a stool with a glass of chilled wine while a delicious meal is being prepared. The smart stylish dining area comes next followed by a fabulous living space featuring seriously comfortable sofas, a gorgeous accent chair, a 45-inch smart television and vibrant contemporary artwork. Walls of glass open from both the dining and living areas to the pool terrace and garden.
One of the three bedrooms is located on the ground floor with a lovely garden view, a beautifully dressed queen size bed and a desk with a chair. The ground-floor family shower room is immaculate. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, with stunning havens with direct access to a very large balcony. One enjoys twin beds dressed with luxury linens which can be set up as a kingsize bed and a beautiful ensuite bathroom while the other offers a kingsize bed and also boasts an ensuite bathroom. The terrace offers two luxury loungers and a round sofa with a canopy and coffee table, a wonderful spot for your morning cup of coffee. The bathrooms are very cool and trendy with marbled tiles and top-notch fittings.
Though the interiors are absolutely stunning, the outside space of Villa Pampas is really where the magic happens. There is a fabulous heated infinity swimming pool with hydromassage, sun loungers with side tables for your cocktails or beer, a semi-circular outdoor sofa, a sunken seating area with a fire pit, a delightful alfresco dining area and beautifully landscaped gardens. Villa Pampas boasts sensational views of the sea, access to a private path to the beach and a lovely water lily pond in the front garden.
Guests also enjoy a welcome glass of champagne on arrival, complimentary water and organic Greek Mediterranean breakfast delivered daily, Nespresso capsules, luxury toiletries, on-demand television channel selections upon request, excellent concierge services, daily cleaning and private transfers to and from the airport or to and from the main port. On request for an additional charge, you can have a private butler, personal trainers, yoga and pilates tuition, massage, hairdressing, private chefs, sailboats and exclusive tours.
When you can bring yourselves to leave this heavenly haven, the island’s sleepy stone villages, lush pine forests, towering chalky cliffs, electric blue Ionian sea, glorious sandy beaches, small pebbled coves, summer festivals, local Verdea wines and delicious local Prentza cheeses will all be waiting.
Zakynthos or Zante as it is often called is one of the most beautiful of the Ionian islands. The island offers breathtaking landscapes, exotic, sandy beaches, turquoise bays and a crazy nightlife. Many of the beaches, including Tsilivi where the villa is located, Laganas and Kalamaki enjoy an excellent range of watersports. For those that love hiking and cycling, there are many old footpaths leading to mountainous villages, monasteries and medieval towers. A visit by boat to the Keri Caves and Marathonisi, located at the bay of Lachana, is very popular. You will have the chance to swim or snorkel, meeting the famous Caretta turtles that swim in this wonderful natural environment. The island’s famous Blue Caves are one of its most fascinating, natural attractions. They are of great geological interest and are located along the northwestern side of the island, beginning after Agios Nikolaos and ending near Cape Schinari.
Zakynthos’ beaches are renowned for their beauty. Tsilivi Beach is absolutely wonderful, offering a good range of watersports and organised sun loungers, parasols and beach bars. Another of the most popular beaches is the sandy beach of Kalamaki. With fine, golden sand and shallow water, it is the ideal spot for families with young children. You can even horse ride on some beaches. Keri Lighthouse is a magical spot to enjoy colourful sunsets and magnificent views of the tall rocks.
One of the most famous sights and a must-visit is ‘The Shipwreck’, a magnificent real shipwreck on the secluded coast of St George. The wreck was discovered on 5 October 1980 and has become a major tourist attraction in its wild, beautiful landscape. There are frequent boat trips to the wreck.
In Zakynthos Town, Solomos Square is a focal spot with many restaurants and bars and the interesting Byzantine Museum and Cultural Center. Bochali is a 2km stroll from the centre of Zakynthos Town. Its panoramic views of the pretty harbour are stunning as are those towards Argassi and the Bay of Laganas. You will discover charming, narrow alleys lined with traditional cafes and old houses. The castle at the top of the hill is well-maintained and a popular attraction. Delicious wines can be tasted and bought at Solomos Wines distillery. The cellars are very attractive and worth a visit.
Laganas is one of the two main tourist hotspots in Zakynthos along with Zakynthos Town. Kalamaki is not far behind, though it is a little more laid-back. There is a good choice of restaurants at all of these resorts. The main street of Laganas runs along the lovely beachfront to Kalamaki. The 5km beach is wonderful with fine, silvery sand lined with sun loungers and parasols. Pedalos and boat trips are available to catch a glimpse of the protected Caretta turtles swimming around the bay. The beaches are part of the National Marine Park. The rare Caretta turtles lay their eggs in the sands of Gerakas, Dafni, Kalamaki, Marathonisi and Sakania, east of Laganas.
Agios Sostis is a charming, quaint coastal Greek village close to Laganas. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and was named after a 16th-century church dedicated to Saint Sostis. The village has a stunning backdrop of the mountains and a delightful beach. There are some waterfront charismatic bars and restaurants where you will receive a very warm welcome. You can also hire a boat from Agios Sostis over to Marathonisi Island.
