The homemade cake the owners leave is unbelievably tasty! It's in the Gaeltacht which is part of the appeal for our family too & there are enough things in an Cheathrú Rua for the kids between beaches, walks, playpark & a pitch. Have stayed twice now & will likely stay again in the future. It's a good base to get out & about Conamara...nice Guinness in the local too ;)

The spacious accommodation had lots of extra thoughtful touches to make our stay very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. It is in a great location for exploring the west coast of Galway.
