About this property

Resting in the quiet, semi-rural village of Tully, a seaside settlement in the beautiful county of Galway, Ireland, lies this charming, two-bedroom traditional farmhouse, Sea View House. Boasting off-road parking, well-presented living spaces, and a gorgeous setting that enjoys outstanding views of the Atlantic inlet along with the mountainous terrains of Killary Bay and the Renvyle Peninsula, this delightful home welcomes a family of four for a relaxing stay by the sea, just a short drive from the Connemara National Park. Park up and settle into your new home-from-home, where a well-equipped kitchen invites the chosen chef to whip up a tasty dinner for the whole family that can be savoured around the dining table. When you've finished the washing up, retreat to the sitting room where you can enjoy a film on the TV whilst you're kept warm by the crackling embers of a woodburning stove. When sleep calls, refresh with a hot, long shower before you retire to one of two plush double bedrooms. In the morning, wake up to amazing views of your wonderful surroundings visible through your bedroom windows. Enjoy your morning coffee out front on the picnic bench before you head out to explore what your local area has to offer. Re-stock on essentials the nearby supermarket of Rogans Mace Renvyle, then head to Paddy Coynes Pub to enjoy a delicious, pub lunch that will fuel the rest of your day. Head to the gorgeous attraction of Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden, a Gothic Benedictine nunnery resting on the waters of Pollacapall Lough, on your journey into the magnificent setting of the Connemara National Park, where you can spend time hiking through the trails of Diamond Hill, or simply traversing the seemingly-endless amount of heaths, grasslands and scenic walkways and cycle trails that span this amazing region. Bring your loved ones for an unforgettable stay in Ireland by booking a stay at Sea View House.

On the gorgeous Renvyle Peninsula in County Galway, the seaside community of Tully is located. The modest pier by the shore is still where fishermen land their daily catch in this community on the Atlantic Ocean. The community features two pubs, a post office, a grocery store, a riding stable, and Teach Ceoil, a music venue that hosts traditional music evenings every Tuesday night in July and August. In addition to various walking and cycling paths, sea cruises, angling excursions, and other activities, the mountains of Mweelrea and Croagh Patrick are visible across the bay. Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, and Inishbofin Island are also easily accessible. a great starting point for a tranquil Irish vacation.

Nice to have real fire with generous supply of fuel. Some key kitchen equipment was missing eg corkscrew, sieve, grater, large bowls, jug. Beds were a bit rickety. Lighting in lounge would benefit from:a reading light. Photographs of property are misleading as fact house is divided into other flats is not mentioned. Overall was perfectly adequate but could be improved.

It’s so remote it really helps you unwind. Everything we needed was at the cottage. A wonderful week in a beautiful part of Ireland. The scenery is really breathtaking.

The home had everything we needed, the location was excellent, the view was beautiful, and the host was very helpful and kind. There were a number of beautiful sites to explore nearby including the beaches, the abbey, and some other interesting historical sites and ruins. We'd love to stay again for a longer stretch! Four nights wasn't enough.
