Set all on the ground floor, there are three comfortable bedrooms and a cosy sitting room with an open fire, perfect for you to lie back whilst sharing your new photos with friends back home over the WiFi, while warming your toes in front of the cosy open fire after a day of being out and about. The cottage also has an open plan living area which is great for keeping everyone together while a tasty meal is being rustled up as you plan the next day’s activities. This area then extends back to a sun room where you will surely spend most of your time with a view of the sea. Outside there’s a small lawn to the front and a large garden out back with table and chairs so you can sit out and enjoy the fresh sea breeze no matter the time of day. Take yourself for a stroll down to the beach and look out over the Irish Sea, or pull on your walking boots and discover what the surrounding area has to offer, such as the Kilwirra Church Ruins. Jump in the car and explore the fantastic town of Carlingford, home to a range of shops, eateries, pubs and activities for you to sample and partake in. Alternatively, head a bit further afield and see as much of the east coast of Ireland as you can and you can also head over the border and see the delights of Northern Ireland too. Set in the north east corner of County Lough, between Belfast and Dublin, is the town of Carlingford.
