This outstanding holiday home is in a sought after location right on the coast, just 2½ miles from Wellington Bridge at the head of Bannow Bay, for the nearest pub and restaurant. Ideal for bird-watching during the spring and autumn migration.
Interiors are beautifully presented with a large sitting room with an open fire, three bedrooms and a garden with outdoor seating right on the water's edge. This is a great base for six guests looking to escape the rat race and spend a week or two exploring this wonderful coastline.
Get out and about and explore this delightful area of Co. Wexford, take a guided tour around Duncannon Fort renowned historically for its strategic position on the Waterford Harbour estuary. Visit one of Europe’s oldest lighthouses on the Hook Head Peninsula or follow one of the excellent walking trails and look out for birds and dolphins. This is a popular area for sailing and fishing too with charter fishing available locally. Pick up the Ballyhack car ferry to Waterford, visit Tintern and Dunbrody Abbeys and the John F. Kennedy Arboretum. You can take to the saddle and go pony trekking (organised by the owners), a wonderful way to explore this beautiful area.
This really is a great base from which to make the most of your holiday on the Irish coast and, at the end of a busy day simply relax in the garden with a beer.
