Discover The Lodge, a thoughtful, charm-filled retreat laying close to the village of Shillelagh, County Wicklow, the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time in a beautiful destination. Upon entering, be welcomed by a wonderful open-plan living area; centred by a stone feature wall, and a woodburning stove, well-appointed for those winter months. Large windows invite natural scenery inside, and warm coloured floors compliment the layout wholeheartedly. Continue through the property to arrive at the stylish bedrooms, each lovingly arranged with a glimpse of charm, there is even a family room which includes both a double and a single bed. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 988329, 988330, 988331, 988333, 988335, together they can sleep up to 20 people.

For walkers, the Wicklow Way runs past the village, and the nearby Tomnafinnoge Oak Wood, one of the largest remaining oak woods in Ireland, makes a lovely spot for an autumn stroll. Coolattin Golf Club is just outside the village, while slightly further afield, discover the Wicklow Mountains, city of Dublin, and 'Ballykissangel' village of Avoca.

    I only wish it could have been longer so that I could have explored the area more. The Lodge is spacious and comfortably furnished with wonderful views and easy access to the garden. Donal is very welcoming and helpful.

    The lodge has everything you need to be comfortable- very good beds and one good shower

    Candidly a week was enough as you do need a car and a fair drive to do most things. Not a criticism just an honest observation. Do walk to the pub though, lovely owner and good beer.
