The location is stunning, imagine waking up and strolling down to the jetty on the lakeside. surrounded by mountains and the peace and tranquillity that offers. The property is at the foot of the Caha Mountains and the Gleninchiquin Waterfall amenity area is just three quarters of a mile away. There are plenty of activities on hand too, book into the nearby sailing centre or head to Kilmakilloge Harbour where there’s a watersports centre. If you fancy a spot of wild swimming there’s a lovely sand and pebble beach and the Lake House Pub just 4 miles.
Visit the attractive town of Kenmare, 11 miles away. This picturesque town has so much to offer with its excellent shops, cafes, delis and restaurants so it’s perfect for picking up daily provisions and stopping off for lunch or dinner. We recommend visiting the Bronze Age stone circle, just a 10 minute walk from the town centre, this is actually one of the largest stone circles in South West Ireland. Kenmare has even been cited as one of Europe’s most beautiful small towns by CNN Travel. From here you.re well placed for touring some of Ireland’s most magnificent scenery on the Ring of Kerry or Beara Peninsula.
Head to the peaceful glens and streams of Gleninchaquin for a picnic followed by a walk along the Kenmare section of the Beara Way. Holidays in Co. Kerry don’t get much better than this!
