Just 4 miles away is one of Ireland’s most scenic 18 Hole Golf Courses at Dooks, followed by Killarney, Killorglin, Tralee Ballybunion, Dingle and Waterville all within an hour’s drive or so. This Lodge is ideally located for fishing, surfing, walking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hang gliding or mountain climbing, with Ireland’s highest mountain range the McGuillycuddy Reeks overlooking the Killarney National Park, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House, Ross Castle, the Heights of Aghadoe and Killarney’s Three Lakes just 40 minutes away. The South Kerry Greenway that is being constructed at present is directly across from the Lodge at the foot of the Pinewood Curra Mountain.
