This Ballydavid cottage is over 100 years old, but has been lovingly refurbished to a fantastic standard and still maintains elements of the original character, such as the thick stone walls. Wonderfully presented, the sitting room has a modern feel and benefits from stylish leather furniture and a small dining area, ideal for enjoying breakfast with the morning paper. The four comfortable bedrooms at this Ballydavid cottage offer excellent sleeping accommodation for any party, with the ground floor en-suite bedroom a particular highlight due to its spacious nature and doors onto the patio where spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and sea cliffs can be enjoyed across picturesque rural vistas. Lovers of the great outdoors are perfectly placed at this Ballydavid cottage, with Mount Brandon, Ireland's highest peak outside of the Macgillycuddy's Reeks range, on your doorstep, and a selection of wonderful, sandy beaches in the area. Take a stroll to the local pier and cast a line and see what bites, or enjoy the 'craic agus ceol' - hospitality and traditional music in the nearby Bothar Pub. The famous and popular town of Dingle is just a short drive away and with so much to see and do on this naturally stunning peninsula, this Ballydavid cottage is the perfect spot from which to base your Irish adventure.
Ballydavid is a small fishing village situated on the Dingle Peninsula and benefits from a sandy beach and views towards Mount Brandon. Ballydavid has many restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and also a variety of traditional pubs, all keen to welcome people to their Irish music nights. Nearby is Ventry where you can test out the Blue Flag sandy beaches and even take part in more active activities such as watersports or a horse ride along the beach.
