Enjoying a delightful setting and a spacious interior with special features including a large cathedral style window which offers beautiful views out towards the woodlands and lawns, Hazelwood is a fantastic choice for a group or family of eight. Your new home from home benefits from ample off-road parking for 10 cars, as well as a generous patio with clothesline, storage shed, and furniture, ideal for evenings when you fancy dining alfresco. The ground floor plays host to a large and fully-equipped kitchen/diner with adjoining utility, an inviting sitting room where you can relax on the plush seating in front of the crackling open fire as you watch your favourite show on the TV, a conservatory where you can enjoy your morning coffee as you plan the days adventures. Completing the ground floor is a wonderful double bedroom with Jack-and-Jill shower room. Head upstairs, where you can wash away the day in the monochromatic bathroom with an indulgent soak in the bath or a quick shower, before discovering three further bedrooms, a king-size and two doubles, one of which benefits from its own en-suite shower room. Accessible by foot, bike, or car, the area is home to some of Ireland's most stunning natural features, including sandy beaches, quiet coves, fast-flowing rivers, lakes, hills, and forests. The bustling market town of Kinsale, known as the "gourmet capital of Ireland," is not too far away. It is well-known for its food, friendliness, and traditional flavour. This is a great place to see the unspoiled beauty of Ireland, as well as take advantage of the many events held throughout West Cork throughout the year.

A home from home. Warm welcome from the hosts who lived next door appreciated when we arrived late in the evening. Situated in easy distance from lots of villages along the coast we enjoyed discovering all Ireland had to offer.

Tim the host is extremely helpful and the scones and jam on arrival was such a lovely touch! The recommendations provided for things to do and places to go in the area were excellent! Overall a wonderful stay at Hazelwood - a truly fabulous getaway destination!

The kitchen is large and has all modern conveniences. There is a lovely sunny conservatory and cosy good sized living room. The ensuite bedroom on the ground floor was great for our 90 year old Nanna. All bedrooms are very large and comfortable. It is in a great location to explore West Cork and has a local pub at the end of the drive. Maria welcomed us with delicious scones and jam. We had no issues at all and loved our stay. I would highly recommend it - have already booked for next year! Thanks Timothy!
