Cookies Cottage is a charming, traditional Irish cottage with a friendly atmosphere, praised for its welcoming hosts and central location for exploring the area. It boasts a pleasant patio, ample parking, and a spacious outdoor area. Some guests noted issues with maintenance and amenities.
There is insufficient information to accurately assess the cleanliness as reviews do not provide specific details on this aspect.
The cottage is centrally located for touring Fermanagh, Donegal, and Sligo, with a mention of a pleasant location. However, some guests found it too far from public transport and amenities, and noted the lack of a footpath to town.
Guests have reported that the beds and pillows are uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The presence of low ceilings may also affect the comfort for some visitors.
Several guests have reported issues with facilities, including a non-working oven, radiator, and washing machine. There is also mention of a lack of sufficient glassware, poor TV reception, and dim lighting.
The hosts are described as thoughtful and responsive, with instances of them addressing issues promptly and providing extra wine glasses when mentioned. However, as gifts are not consistently referenced, their provision should not be expected.

Thank you

Gerryâs generosity & friendliness was second to none. He was also very accommodating & ready to help when needed. We happened to say we could have done with a few extra wine glasses and they were on our doorstep that afternoon, which we certainly werenât expecting. A great base for touring Fermanagh, Donegal & Sligo. All in all we had a lovely break in Cookieâs Cottage. Thank you Gerry and Sadie from The 5 Merry Wanderers from the North & their 2 pooches Woof Woof!

it really needs updated. A thorough deep clean would be needed. Very basic amenities. Washing maching not working. No Wifi, 3 tv channels working. 19" TV in 1 room only. Beds really uncomfortable although mentioned in other comments is it is obvious this has not been noted, dimly lit in the evenings. Althought it sleeps 7 there was only 2 glasses. Location of property is very nice, and quite.
