The lovely village of Derrybeg is not far from the cottage and is renowned for its extensive coastline and beautiful sandy beaches together with a superb collection of pubs and restaurants, where you can sample the local delights and the freshly caught catch of the day. The cottage is one mile from Port Arthur Beach which is on the Wild Atlantic Way and well worth a visit. Further afield from this pleasant cottage in County Donegal, is the ancient shipwreck at Bunbeg and the Dunlewey Centre on the shores of Lough Dunlewey overlooked by the Poisoned Glen where you will find fabulous scenery. If you fancy a round of golf, there is the Gweedore Golf Club which is also nearby. With plenty to do for all the family in the area, this is a lovely coastal cottage from which to explore the area.
