Plough Cottage receives high praise for its cosy charm, modern amenities, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from hosts and the peaceful rural setting, ideal for walks and relaxation. Some minor issues are noted, but overall experiences are very positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as spotless and very clean. This indicates a high standard maintained by the hosts.
The location is appreciated for its quiet village setting, proximity to beaches, and central position for exploring nearby towns. The rural charm and accessibility to local attractions are well-regarded.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the cottage cosy and well-appointed. One review cites an issue with the underfloor heating being too warm, but this seems an isolated concern.
Facilities are generally praised for being modern and well-equipped. There is a single complaint about the size of the bathroom basin, but overall, the amenities meet guests' needs effectively.
While guests mention a welcome bottle of wine and homemade bread, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard practice for all stays.
