Inside, the design is elegant and modern. In the living area, deep orange sofas are complemented by many unique pieces decorating the room. From the decorative lamps to the contemporary wooden furnishings and contemporary wall art, this room boasts plenty of one of a kind ornaments.

The home is both cosy and stylish. Some of the bedrooms are fitted with high, four-poster beds with mosquito curtains. The rooms also present low lighting which creates a calming atmosphere in the evenings, and natural light which illuminates the room during the day.

Guests staying at Villa Jovial are lucky enough to be so close to some of the island’s most sparkling beaches. Cala Boix is only a short 10-minute drive away and is frequented for its blissful seclusion and pretty scenery.

Surrounded by imposing cliffs and lush trees against the vivid blue waters,  just sitting and admiring the vistas is enough at Cala Boix. You’ll feel as if you’ve made a great discovery off-the-beaten-track at this beach. Bodysurfing and snorkelling are activities you can enjoy here and when you’re worn out, head to the quaint beach bar or one of the nearby restaurants.

Pou des Lleo is also only a 10-minute drive away. The beach is popular with locals for its picturesque peace and tranquillity. This horseshoe-shaped beach is a great choice for taking in the beauty of the island as it boasts views over the island of Tagomago and the striking cliffs that surround it. Morning walks here will be revitalising.

The quaint village of San Carlos is worth exploring and is reachable via a short drive. The village is a hot spot with hippies as many of them settled here during the 60s and 70s. The free-loving hippie spirit is still felt here. Las Dalias is a famous market that runs in the village every Saturday from ten in the morning. The legendary market sells artisan products, clothes and jewellery and goes on well into the evening. The array of stalls are accompanied by live music and are displayed in a beautiful flourishing garden.
