The Maltings is the perfect place for a romantic retreat or a holiday with your four-legged friend and is a perfect base for walkers and cyclists to explore all that Trunch has to offer.
The property has been tastefully furnished to provide comfort and relaxation throughout the property, no matter the time of year. The thoughtful touches such as the underfloor heating and the wood burning stove make The Maltings a perfect place for a cosy winters retreat, similarly, the french doors, large windows and spcaious fully enclosed garden also make for a perfect summer destination.
Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by the homely touches that are dotted throughout the property, from the sumptuous sofas through to the exposed beams in the bedroom. The ground floor is home to the open-plan living area, where you will the kitchen that offers plenty of space and is well-equipped for even the keenest of chefs, the dining area with a table perfect for romantic meals and morning coffees and the sitting area, with an inviting sofa and french doors opening out into the garden, that flood the room with natural light. The bathroom is also on the ground floor and offers a double ended bath with an overhead shower and twin wash basins; an excellent place to relax in a bubble bath with your favourite book.
Upstairs, you will find the spacious mezzanine bedroom, with charming exposed beams and a small circle window to the far end, where you can watch the birds in the trees. The bedroom also offers a desk area, should you require.
Outside, the fully enclosed courtyard garden offers a barbecue, comfortable garden furniture and ample private parking; making it the perfect place to relax after a day spent exploring Trunch with an alfresco meal and your favourite beverage.
The owners kindly offer a secure bicycle shed for you to use for the duration of your stay, that allows you to bring your bikes along and explore the picturesque Norfolk countryside on two wheels.
The village of Trunch has a local pub called The Crown, which is within walking distance. The Crown serves real ale and delicious food, as well as providing a selection of newspapers and other essential supplies. Trunch is also proud to be the home of St Botolphs Church, where concerts are held regularly during the summer season.
