Within two hours of London, located at Piggles Retreat in Brinkley, Newmarket, Bears House is a quaint wood cabin designed for couples wishing to take time to reconnect with each other and nature. Relax with a yoga session in the tree house, challenge your partner to a putt on the green or a badminton tournament, followed by dining al fresco shaded by the gazebo amongst the trees, concluding the day with a romantic row boat under the stars at this magical site. Boasting eateries, museums, shops and much more, vibrant city of Cambridge and historic town of Newmarket are within easy reach.

One of three cabins on the Piggles Retreat site, Bears House is a hidden cabin with a kitchenette, spacious sitting room and sleeping accommodation for two people in a comfy double bedroom, with room for an additional guest on a single bed in the sitting room (small additional charge). The fully-equipped kitchenette offers a mini-fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The separate sitting room has a sofa and a television, and boasts views out over the gardens and lake. Outside, a decked area featuring a barbecue as well as garden furniture. Each cabin has its own private shower room just a short walk away from the cabin, with a shower, WC and basin.

Sleeping one adult and one child, or two children, Monkey's House can be added to any booking for an additional £60 per night, subject to availability. Please request at time of booking.

Although the cabin is designed for 2 guests it can accommodate up to 4 guests for an additional £50 per guest, per night. There is a sofa bed or we can supply a put up bed.

The extra guests will have to bring their own bed linen or we can supply bed linen for each extra guest for an extra £10.

The Monkeys House Annex:

For larger families there is an annex called Monkeys house with bunk beds and television which can sleep one adult and one child, or two children.
