Guests say

Honeystones is a spacious and beautifully decorated cottage in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, praised for its ideal location, ample parking, and roomy interiors suitable for large groups. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the village centre, with some noting the thoughtful touches and cleanliness of the property.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with specific praise for clean bedding and towels. However, some guests noted areas needing improvement, such as windows, skirtings, and a deep clean in the bathrooms.

The location is highly regarded due to its convenience for walking into the village, proximity to local attractions, and ease of access to the wider Cotswolds area. The main road nearby is mentioned, but it does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.

Guests find the house comfortable, with spacious rooms and good bathrooms. Some guests mentioned the duvets being too warm and the garden furniture being inadequate, suggesting room for improvement in comfort amenities.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and ample space. Criticisms include the need for more crockery, pans, and garden furniture, as well as maintenance issues with appliances and garden upkeep.

While guests have expressed satisfaction with the property's amenities and the management's communication, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful gestures that could be consistently expected by future guests.

Front garden was overgrown so we couldn't access the path. The house was generally ok but clearly hadn't had a deep clean. Cobwebs around the walls. Dirty under door bars.

We had an issue with the BBQ, however, Manor Cottages did respond and in the end this did not spoil our stay. I would recommend this property.

Really spacious and perfect for a group - we had 8 adults and 2 children. Great social living areas in both the kitchen and the living room. Perfect location with a 10 minute walk into town. Would highly recommend!
