Bobble Cottage is a charming property in a peaceful location, appreciated for its comfort and proximity to local attractions. Guests have enjoyed the welcoming touches and found it to be a cosy base for exploring the Cotswolds.
The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, though some guests noted areas needing deeper cleaning and issues with kitchenware and appliances. The majority found it clean upon arrival, suggesting good overall standards with room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and convenience to nearby towns and attractions, making it an ideal spot for visitors looking to explore the Cotswolds.
Most guests found the cottage comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed and sofa. However, suggestions for minor improvements and maintenance issues slightly affect the overall comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-received, but there are recurring comments about the tight parking space, the need for better instructions for appliances, and maintenance issues like the shower and vacuum cleaner.
While some guests mentioned welcome gifts such as biscuits and milk, there are not enough references to consistently assess the thoughtfulness of the host. Therefore, while these touches are appreciated, they cannot be guaranteed.
Bobble Cottage is a delightful Cotswold cottage, stunning and contemporary and, in our opinion absolutely ideal for couples looking for a weekend bolt hole. The property is located in a quiet corner of the beautiful Cotswold village of Little Rissington and has off street parking for one car. Internally the ground floor is open plan, with a welcoming cosy and warm feeling upstairs is a good sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom . Bobble Cottage is presented to a very high standard with comfort central to its appeal. As you can imagine there are great walks from your front door, either up the hill where you'll get some stunning views or alternatively you can walk down the hill towards Bourton on the Water, which is approximately 30 minutes on foot or less than 5 mins in the car! With such a central central location, it is an ideal base for enjoying the many National Trust gardens and properties. A gorgeous cottage!
Little Rissington is a quiet village outside the popular destination of Bourton-on-the-Water, Little Rissington is worth visiting for its 12th century church with its moving memorial to RAF servicemen. The village styling is typical for the Cotswolds; small cottages fronted by flower-boxes. Associations are always made between the village and RAF Little Rissington, the air base which was located relatively close. The main attraction is the 12th century church, which lies apart from the village up a short path to the west of the road. On Pound Lane is a row of Cotswold stone cottages described as perhaps the best example in Gloucestershire of 17th century vernacular building.

Had a lovely week, cottage was cosy & clean, with all facilities, bed was comfortable, pillows were a little soft , very quiet, good television, & storage fir clothes, only critique was the parking space was very tight, we only had small car but still not able to exit car, every other space had big cars in so was impossible, we parked by village hall, milk & biscuits were appreciated,

The size was ideal for us, being just a couple. Where it is let down is mainly the condition of the shower, which is in a terrible condition. We had to buy a new shower head to use & then brought it back home as the one installed was filthy & didn't give a spray at all. The shower cubicle is the smallest available with out of date corner entry doors. It's a shame as there is plenty of room to increase the size. The toilet handle also felt as though it was only one operation away from breaking. The mop head was unbelievably dirty & the vacuum gave a horrible smell when operated. We stayed here last October & made the same comments, but nothing has changed. If the above were corrected, it would be a fantastic holiday home.
