A complimentary welcome hamper will be awaiting you on your arrival containing milk, tea, fresh coffee, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and cheese, along with other essential items to prepare a light snack or breakfast. There may be some regional variations.

Vine Cottage is a delightful, semi-detached, 200-year-old cottage with a pretty, private, enclosed garden. The cottage has retained some of its original features including the exposed beams and exposed brickwork on the chimney breast.

Situated close to Chipping Campden's historic High Street, the cottage is accessed by way of a courtyard where there is a private parking space.

Chipping Campden is arguably the most attractive of the larger Cotswolds wool villages and the High Street was described by the historian, Sir George Trevellyan, as “the most beautiful village street now left on this island.” The village has an abundance of shops, restaurants and pubs and is a good centre for visiting the Cotswold beauty spots, gardens and Stratford-upon-Avon.

The town is situated in a conservation area and an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so in turn has a wealth of beautiful buildings in a plethora of architectural styles.

Every year in late May the town holds the world famous Robert Dover’s Olimpick Games. A must see is the shin kicking and tug o’ war competition as well as many other sporting events.

Throughout the surrounding areas there are a wealth of lovely walks with the war memorial in the centre of town acting as the official start and finish of the 100 mile Cotswold Way.

The property makes an ideal base for enjoying the many pretty market towns and villages in the area, such as Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the-Wold. If you fancy something outdoors we would highly recommend Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate Gardens.
