Linnet Cottage provides a perfect home away from home, sleeping up to six guests and an additional child, this property is a great place to stay for a large family. Upon entering, you will find the property is of a good size and has fantastic views over the lake. The living space is a sociable open plan design, and complete with a wood burner for cosy winter evenings and 60” Smart TV, sliding doors to access decking and downstairs toilet. Outside the property really comes into its own, with a large decking on the ground floor offering picturesque views, seating, and gas BBQ for al fresco dining. On the first floor are three bedrooms one with en-suite, a further bedroom with a child’s single bed with fantastic views, and a family bathroom. You can access the first-floor deck through the double and single rooms. The spacious second floor features a kingsize bed with en-suite.
Guests have access to excellent facilities including membership to ArtSpa (treatments are at cost) and use of the gym and indoor and outdoor ’eco’ swimming pools. Free and affordable activities around the Cotswold Water Park include seasonal fishing and watersports like waterskiing and wakeboarding, as well as paddleboarding and bike hire. There is a children’s play area with a trampoline close to the house and a soft play areas too (at cost), while a network of footpaths and cycle routes give guests access to explore the 550-acre private nature reserve. A short drive from the house, the Cotswold Country Park and beach offers plenty of fun including pedalos and an inflatable floating obstacle course. The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty attracts visitors from around the world who come to explore the lovely towns and villages which are among the most picturesque in the UK, as well as to walk and cycle through the beautiful countryside.
Cirencester, a thriving market town with Roman roots and is only a few miles away with an excellent variety of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Slightly further afield, but still within easy reach, are places like Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bath, Oxford and Stratford-Upon-Avon. Attractions in the area include something for everyone, no matter what their age or interests. Family friendly activities include the Cotswold Farm Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Corinium Museum, while active kids will enjoy activities like paint-balling and the indoor skate park. Wander amongst beauty at Highgrove or Westonbirt Arboretum, or marvel at the splendour of grand estates such as Blenheim Palace and Sudeley Castle. Bicester village is best known for its high-end designer outlet shopping or mix a spot of shopping with a visit to the Steam Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon.
