On arrival, park up in one of the free off-road parking spaces on the gravel driveway, as you unload your luggage in through the front door which opens into a welcoming entrance hall.

Make your way into the heart of the home to the sitting room, which is a bright and open space where you can relax with your loved ones sunk into one of the sofas and the armchair, as you watch a film on the DVD player and are kept warm by the roaring open fire, which creates a relaxing environment.

Enjoy home-cooking with your party, in the contemporary, well-equipped kitchen, making use of the two electric ovens and five ring induction hob, before gathering around the large oak dining table to tuck into your meal, as the dishwasher does all the cleaning for you!

Enjoy a fun-filled games evening with your loved ones in the games room, that double as a utility, and play a competitive game of pool or an entertaining game of darts!

If you return back from one of your walks with muddy clothes, fear not – there is a washing machine resting in the utility space in the games room!

Completing the ground-floor, you will find a cloakroom containing a basin, WC and coat rail.

When night falls, you’re spoilt for choice between three wonderful bedrooms, one oak framed king-size with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room with a large walk-in shower, a second oak framed king-size overlooking the garden and an oak framed twin bed room, all beautifully decorated with ample storage space for your belongings.

Gamers will be delighted to find a PlayStation with two controllers and other games located in the snug room, which contains a double sofa bed that is available to guests upon request.

In the morning, enjoy a long soak in the bubbles in the bath, or an invigorating rinse in the rain shower over, before heading down to the kitchen to make you and your guests a warming mug of coffee using the Nespresso coffee machine.

Outside, the pretty garden comprises a patio area with an outdoor table and seating for eight guests, as well as a gas and charcoal barbecue with a large lawn and a small sand-built army bunker to keep little ones entertained.

Begin your day with a leisurely stroll through the local village, where you will find a well-stocked convenience store and farm shops, where you can pick up fresh and local produce for rustling up delicious meals for you and your loved ones.

If you fancy an evening of no cooking, there are two welcoming pubs, the Kings Arms which serves excellent food worthy of a top-class restaurant or if you would like something more traditional try the Butchers Arms.

Nearby, you will find the National Trust site of Hidcote, superb 20th-century gardens where lawn games can be played which offers exceptional views and two on-site cafes.

Next stop is the market town of Chipping Campden, home to the Court Barn Museum where you can learn more about the town’s local artist school and the history of the artists, and the magnificent National Trust Market Hall, where you can wander through the 17th-century open market hall.

A visit to Chipping Campden is the perfect spot to join the scenic Cotswolds Way, a 102-mile-long footpath that boasts some of the best views in the area.

Further afield is Stratford-upon-Avon, famous for being the birthplace of playwright, William Shakespeare, here you can walk the footsteps of the great literary at his former home and schoolroom and also visit the MAD Museum, or step back in time at Tudor World.
