Jasmine Cottage is frequently described as a cosy, well-equipped retreat with a homely atmosphere and tasteful interior design. Guests appreciate the generous welcome hamper, comfortable bedding, and the property's quiet location, ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. Some concerns were raised about parking, heating, and hot water issues, but these were not universal.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean and well-presented, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable stay.
The cottage is praised for its peaceful location, proximity to walking paths, and local pubs. However, some guests mentioned parking difficulties and nearby road works as minor inconveniences.
Comfort is highly rated with mentions of a cosy fireplace, comfortable double bed, and a pleasant garden. A few guests noted the mattresses could be improved and the high tog duvet was not suitable for hot weather.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-appointed kitchen. Criticisms include the lack of a walk-in shower and occasional issues with heating and hot water, suggesting some maintenance is required.
Guests frequently express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome hamper filled with local goodies, although it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed with every stay.

The Cottage is very elegant and perfectly decorated. The living and fireplace are excellent and the overall atmosphere in the rooms is lovely and cozy. We loved our time there with two small kids and would recommend to anyone! The location is also superb, in a quite part of the Cotswolds' but a short drive from most places. The Fox Inn next door and its fish and chips were divine! Only drawbacks in the cottage are the bed mattresses - they are old and quite uncomfortable. With new quality ones the experience would have been perfect to very high standards! One last thing to keep in mind the kitchen is rather small - smaller than what it looks like in the photos. But for us it worked fine as meals with kids are never too static :). Check-in and check-out was excellent and the cottage was nice and warm at all times!

Would have given 5 stars but cottage hadnt been cleaned properly and a lot of dust and cobwebs present. We had to buy kindling for wood burner and the heating was controlled via Hive system- it would come on for a few hours but after that it was locked so we were very chilly most evenings. Mattress in main bed very old and uncomfortable- no protector either. On a positive note cottage was very well equipped with enough crockery and cutlery for ten people! Lovely welcome hamper too.
