Everything you could need for a short break was available, even hair straighteners! The only slight criticism we have (its not a negative), is that we found eating at the bar table quick tricky as the stools are too high. The hot tub was a delight. Relaxing, looking at the stars whilst listening to the owls was wonderful. The owners were very helpful and communicated instructions clearly. Would definitely stay again!

The barn conversion has everything you need and more, the hot tub is perfect to lay and watch the night sky surrounded by nature. Val was a lovely host, very informative on our arrival, we will definitely be coming back soon!

We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet and being able to explore the extensive grounds making it possible to do a good walk straight from the doorstep. We also enjoyed some excellent eating places close by and it is an excellent gateway to the Peak District.
