Strelley Court Farm is highly praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and suitability for large groups. The property boasts a lovely garden, a games room, and comfortable bedrooms, often with en-suite facilities. The owner's warm welcome and the provision of beverages are appreciated touches. While some minor maintenance issues and cleanliness concerns are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the property to be clean and tidy upon arrival, with only a few noting areas that could benefit from deeper cleaning or more attention to detail. The majority of reviews do not raise significant cleanliness issues, suggesting a generally high standard of cleanliness.
Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the ample space provided by the property, which accommodates large groups without feeling crowded. The presence of multiple bathrooms and a well-furnished garden adds to the overall comfort.
The property is celebrated for its excellent facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, games room, and outdoor BBQ area. However, some reviews mention the need for maintenance, such as shower pressure issues and minor repairs, which slightly impacts the score.
The owner's thoughtfulness is highlighted by several guests who appreciated the welcoming gestures, such as beverages left in the fridge. While these gifts contribute to the positive experience, it is important to note that such gestures are at the owner's discretion and may not be a standard offering for all stays.

The village of Ripley in Lower Nidderdale, situated on the leeward side of the Yorkshire Dales, was designed and built, by Sir William Amcotts Ingleby in the 1830's. The village is home to a Castle in the centre with extensive gardens open to the public which include waterfalls, bridges and a lake. The village has a large cobbled market place in the centre, overlooked by the Boar's Head - an old coaching inn which offers a restaurant, bar and bistro. There is a village store and ice cream parlour where visitors can enjoy the very popular Ripley ice cream, along with a butchers, art gallery and much more.
