The pretty village of Penycae, set at the foothills of the Ruabon Mountains in North Wales, lies a couple of miles west of Ruabon and just over six miles from Llangollen. The nearest town is Ruabon, a community close to the English/Welsh border, and this area of unspoilt natural beauty is ideal for enjoying the attractions of both countries.
