Despite being well-known for its industrial past, the hamlet now draws a wide variety of tourists, especially those who enjoy the outdoors, thanks to its many walking paths and rural attractions, such as the old Stone Edge Cupola. Traditional pub fare is available for dining at the Peak Edge Hotel, and the neighbourhood farm shop sells necessities. It is a well thought out space, fully equipped and we had a lovely week here. Liz is super helpful, for instance providing us with gentle battery lights as we could not use the candles we brought due to fire insurance. It was great to be able to pop to the cafe next door for a hearty breakfast and the dedicated Voltshare EV charger was a real boon. We would certainly like to stay here again in future and heartily recommend it.

Very good WiFi although the Smart Tv in the living room was not connected. Cottage was spacious and well equipped. Owner was very helpful and would definitely go back.
