Guests have enjoyed their stays at Joray Bungalow, praising its comfort, cleanliness, and tranquil location. The property is described as spacious and well-situated for local exploration. A few guests mentioned minor issues with facilities, but the overall sentiment is positive, with particular appreciation for the property's peacefulness and the owner's responsiveness.
The majority of guests found the bungalow to be spotlessly clean, with only one report of flies upon arrival. The consistent mention of cleanliness suggests a high standard is typically maintained.
The bungalow is appreciated for its quiet area and village surroundings, with proximity to local walks and towns. The presence of a nearby pub is also noted, although no extensive details on the location are provided.
Guests consistently describe the beds as comfortable and the bungalow as cosy and relaxing. The mention of a warm duvet and super comfy beds supports a high comfort level.
While the bungalow is generally well-equipped, several reviews suggest the addition of a washing machine, dishwasher, and clearer instructions for appliances. The limited freezer space and absence of a hairdryer were also noted.
The owner's quick response to a heating issue and the provision of a Christmas tree are thoughtful touches. However, as these gestures may vary and are not guaranteed, they are considered a bonus rather than a standard offering.

Alford is a charming market town in Lincolnshire. It is set at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is about 11 miles north-west of the coastal resort of Skegness. There is a wide range of shops including a pharmacy, grocers and two butchers as well as a large shop which specialises in doll’s houses and their contents. Alford has become an important centre for arts and crafts with many markets held throughout the year. The main market is held in the Market Place every Tuesday and Friday with the craft market being held every August Bank Holiday as well as Christmas markets being held every year. Alford is known for its Grade 1 listed working windmill, which is used commercially to produce stone-ground organic flour. Alford Manor House is a central point in the town, with its exhibitions and museum as well as a tea room and open gardens. With Alford being set in the Lincolnshire Wolds, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to follow or even take a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway or Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens, where you will find plenty of birds and animals, with plenty of space to sit and relax with great views of the old mill. Within 30 mins, you will find the seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, with great beaches, making a great playground for children and adults alike. For something different, why not visit the towns of Louth or Horncastle, which both have a good range of shops and pubs as well as regular street and farmers markets? Whatever you decide to do, you will not be short of choice for your holiday in this lovely area of Lincolnshire.

Left property to buy fly spray, which at least 17 flies were killed. Not a good start, but property was clean. We have never experienced limited temperature and time with central heating before... We both won't return, not recommending.
