Enclosed lawned garden with patio, decking and garden furniture. Swimming pool (private, 10m x 3m, depth 1.2m). Infra-red sauna. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend away or a touring base close to Woodhall Spa and Horncastle, then The Annex By The Bain is just what you are looking for. Just a short drive to Woodall Spa, home to The Dambusters in wwii and famous for its golf courses and Kinema in the Woods, as well as having many good cafés, bistros, restaurants and pubs to enjoy. The village pub is within walking distance and nearby Horncastle also has a good range of shops and supermarkets, and is well known for its many antique and collectable shops.
The Lincolnshire Wolds which you can explore by car, on foot or by bike, is a 20-minute drive away, with many good Wolds village pubs and cafés for refreshment on your travels. To the east is the traditional seaside town of Skegness with its sandy beaches and attractions for all the family to enjoy. The heated indoor swimming pool is conveniently accessed straight from The Annex By The Bain, or why not relax in the infra-red sauna or on the riverside decking with views oer the Bain Valley? The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based at Coningsby (10 minutes’ drive away) where you can often see the wwii Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Dakota fly overhead.
